Welcome to the Aerospace Control and Guidance Systems Committee (ACGSC) Website. The mission of the ACGSC is to provide a forum for discussion, development, and rapid dissemination of technical information related to aerospace control and guidance systems.  Specific interests include system concept definition, theoretical design and analysis techniques; requirements and specifications; engineering design and development; systems and vehicle integration; and systems operation and maintenance.  Our mission is facilitated through our semi-annual educational meetings and conferences.

$132 USD per night (GSA per diem)

Meeting

  • Online credit card payment preferred.
  • Checks may be sent by mail.
  • Credit cards, cash and checks accepted on-site.

At the discretion of the Chair, fully retired active or emeritus members can request a discounted registration fee - they must formally request the discount by emailing the Chair.

 Early Registration: $525 USD (through 15 March 2024)
Late Registration: $575 USD (after 15 March 2024)

Registration includes:

  • Breakfast each day (17 – 19 April)
  • Full lunch on Wednesday and Thursday (17 – 18 April)
  • Catered reception on Wednesday evening (17 April)
    Guest tickets for reception available for $45 each
  • Vegetarian meals may be selected during registration (must be selected by 15 March)
  • If you have special dietary requirements (e.g., allergies) please be sure to select the Dietary Restrictions option when registering for the meeting. Please contact the ACGSC Chair to request any special accommodations. While not all requests can be guaranteed, the ACGSC and the hotel will make every effort to effect reasonable catering accommodations for meeting attendees.

Optional Bus Tour: Hill Aerospace Museum

  • Thursday, 18 April 2024
  • Bus departs from hotel at 1:30 pm (~30 minute ride)
  • Returns to hotel ~4:45 pm

Attendees can still attend with the group if they choose to drive themselves; this is to count the number of seats required for the charter service.

  • For additional information on Radisson Hotel Salt Lake City Downtown, including local activities, entertainment, and maps, visit the hotel website here.
  • The Salt Lake City International Airport (SLC) is about a 15 minute drive. There is also city transit (Green Line) which takes about 20 minutes.
  • Free wireless internet is provided in the meeting room and guest rooms.
  • Self parking is available on the hotel premises for $10/night.
  • The hotel is located downtown near shopping and amenities; ride share or public transit are encouraged.
  • At the discretion of the Chair, fully retired active or emeritus members can request a discounted registration fee – they must formally request the discount by emailing the Chair. This discount is intended to assist those members who are no longer in the employ of an organization who would normally pay the registration fee. Those members who retire to consultancy should consider whether their consultancy now constitutes employment in the context and spirit of this offer.

  • Need Vegetarian Meals?
    The hotel needs to know early about vegetarian meal requests. If applicable, please register by 15 March and be sure to indicate your vegetarian meal preference when registering.
