General Session Abstract

Abstract
Current work on going within the Flight Research Group of Calspan includes flight test work supporting Unmanned Air Vehicle research, and airborne testbed work. The Unmanned Air Vehicle flight test utilizes the Calspan variable stability Learjets to conduct flight test in support of the Automatic Aerial Refueling and Sense and Avoid projects. This is a multi-year effort and during the General Session the recent activities for these programs were briefed. Also, Calspan recently acquired a Gulfstream 3 for airborne systems testing. The modifications to this airplanes were briefed.
