AbstractScientific System Company has started a number of new projects in the areas of Autonomous Intelligent Control, Automatic Target Recognition & Tracking, Software Verification & Validation, Information Security and Medical Information Systems.

New technologies are being developed with Northrop Grumman under AFRL support in the area of Network Centric Warfare for assessing the Quality of Information (QOI) at every mode in the Network. The QOI metric based on Kullback-Liebler Information Distance between probability densities has been used to detect changes in communication channel quality between two UAV's. For a strike mission involving different ISR platforms determining combat ID of a target, the sensing requirements and QOI required for the prevention of Friendly Fire has been computed. Future work will involve testing on a high fidelity simulation and the development of middleware for QOI assurance..
