AbstractThis presentation describes the Industrial Benchmark jointly proposed by Airbus and Stellenbosch University (ZA) for the 22nd IFAC World Congress (July 2023). It details the industrial context and it provides the reader with the technical problem to solve. It shows the significance of the problem from the perspective of the aerospace industry. Among all contributions received, five have been selected based on the academic quality and on the industrial relevance and feasibility. A brief description of each selected paper is provided.
