AbstractOver the past five years, BAE System Advanced Information Technologies, formerly ALPHATECH Inc., has developed the Multi-vehicle Mission Control System (M2CS) product in support of our Nation's growing need for autonomous cooperative mission control of unmanned systems. The M2CS product generates tactics, schedules, tasking, and routing for teams of heterogeneous unmanned vehicle systems. Mission plans are generated autonomously and dynamically based on the battle space situation while exploiting the unmanned system characteristics to operate within an adversary's timelines. The M2CS products impact is evident by its role on the Nations prominent unmanned system programs. On the Joint Unmanned Combat Air System (J-UCAS) program, the M2CS product has been designated as best of breed by the US Government and is being incorporated into the baseline J-UCAS Common Operating System Build 0.0. On the Unmanned Combat Armed Rotorcraft (UCAR) program, the M2CS product demonstrated a highly effective Manned & Unmanned Armed Reconnaissance mission that greatly reduced the number one risk area in the UCAR program.
