AbstractScientific Systems Company discussed projects in the following three areas:

1. Verification and Validation of FCS software.
2. DARPA Software Enabled Control (SEC) Flight Experiments and,
3. Image Based Navigation without GPS. The SEC flight experiments will be conducted with George Tech and will involve path planning and control of a Yameha RMAX unmanned helicopter in the presence of obstacles and actuator failures. A vision system using stereo cameras is being developed for obstacle detection and avoidance.
