Abstract	David Flavell provided a liaison report from the SAE A-6 Committee, specifically the A6A3 Systems panel from that Committee. He described the changing subject emphasis of the Committee and the consequent adjustments of its structure. The new document preparation work of the Systems panel was described and the hope for rewarding cooperation with the ACGSC on the subject of Lessons Learned was expressed. Mr. Flavell emphasized the A6A3 enthusiasm for continued technical interchange with the ACGSC through joint membership or at least frequent liaison reporting in both directions. He concluded with an appeal for help from government agency representatives, in the form of expressed interest in and support for a new SAE standard to define the requirements for UAV flight control systems – “A MIL-F-9490 for UAVs”.
