Abstract	Research Update for Hoh Aeronautics, Inc. USAF Test Pilot School Project Icarus was completed in the Summer. HAI provided technical support to the project through funding from NASA Dryden. The results of the flight research program, investigating handling qualities issues of pitch/roll coupling for an impaired airplane, will be available in a report to be published by TPS. HAI is about to start the second year of a two-year Phase II.5 Small Business Innovation Research contract for NAVAIR. This contract is refining cargo, slung load, and maritime helicopter handling qualities requirements, in part for risk reduction on the CH-53K program. In a very small and short-term contract, we are gathering information on UAV flight dynamics for NAVAIR, to assist in the initial stages of development of a UAV flight dynamics military specification.
